These are now in reverse order, newest on top.  Click on the pics to see them.

2004 McBride

McBride was a total blast!  Two nice days of blizzard (read as fresh snow) followed by two fantastic sunny spring days.  It was all good. What a treat!

2004 SwanHills II

If there is no snow here, there is snow there.  Load up and hit the powder.  It was way more than worth it.  Enjoy the fantastic pics!

Miscellaneous Rides

2004 Feb
Fire and Ride with the Trailseekers

Tri-County Snowmobile Club got together with our friends from the Spruce Grove TrailSeekers and rode around the Ministik trail system (twice).  A fire for roasting lunch was provided mid trail.

Dan's Jamboree Weekend in Westlock, AB

My Jamboree weekend include not only the Rally ride Saturday, but I also went up Friday to ride Pembina Drift Busters fabulous Long Island Tail system.  I don’t have pictures of the Casino night or Banquette (sorry). I was also lucky enough to be on a ride Sunday through some area around Lac St. Ann, Lake Isle and the Pembina river.

The Pembina Drift Buster tail system is fantastic

– 200km of immaculate wide and well groomed snowmobile trails.

There are countless quad trails are that proudly maintained by some very dedicated folk. Many of these quad trails are very passable and easy to ride for an intermediate snowmobiler.

About a hour from sunset out in the west loop.

The country sure was beautiful this time of day.

Watch these fields in Long Island though…it’s very tempting to go play but it’s well known that there are big nasty rocks littered everywhere…this snow is un-touched for good reason.

Dale and I were joined for the Rally Saturday by Brian’s full complement.

Our wee little Tri-County group still had a good time.

Tail was marked: “Climb at your own risk.” It was a fantastic view.

One of the many lakes I the area.

The warm up shelter can be very popular

I had to go panorama to get all the sleds.

Day three - this ride has nothing to do with the Jamboree. The Darwell service station is 20ft off of the ASA snowmobile trail...pretty tempting. We did about 170km this day, so a top up was desired.

Our way down onto the main river was a bit wet...

The Pembina River

The Pembina River turned into a race track....

Beware of rocks on the edges...(ouch)...

Fortuately this is melt water.

2004 Jan
Brian's Swan Hills Ride

2004
Capital Region Toy Ride

What a success!  Nice to see 80+ sleds out!

2004
Tri County Trail Clearing

Just to prove we do it!

Brave soles clear the trails.

Too cold for the shutter to open.

What do we have here?

Entombed in 1/4" of ice and still happy about it.

Darn that freezing rain. Had to use a pry bar to get his buddy off his sled.

2003 Fall
Tri-County fund and awareness raiser BBQs

Tri-County Partnered with Argyll Motor Sports, Martin Equipment Southside and Cycle Works Southside and held a BBQ at each location. (click on the little pics)

2003 Oct
ASA Snowmobile Show

TCSC Maintained a booth together with the Sturgeon County Snowmobile Club at the ASA snow show again this year.  Fantastic fun seeing so much sno-mo gear and ride destinations under one roof.
