Clyde Club Ride - Sunday February 10, 2003
PLEASE NOTE: This ride will be
cancelled if the temperature on Sunday morning is -25 C. or colder.
Details about the upcoming Club
Ride on Sunday Feb 10th near Clyde AB. This ride is a joint venture
between the Edmonton Snowmobile Club and Tri-County. People should plan to leave
Edmonton no later than 9:00 AM as it is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive from South Edmonton. We
would like to have everyone there, and ready to ride no later than 12:00 noon.
Here are the directions to get to the ESC Clubhouse.
Travel North from Edmonton on Hwy 2
through St. Albert. At the WESTLOCK turnoff, turn right
and proceed straight through Clyde heading East. Proceed East on Hwy 18 and watch
for Bouchard Lake Rd. Continue past Bouchard and turn left (North) at the next
road. Head North for approx 9 or 10 Km.
This road is windy but just stay straight and don't turn off. You will come to a
gas plant where the 'official' road will end. The last 1 Km is a bush trail
that ends right at the ESC Clubhouse. You're there !!
The riding area consists of lakes,
trees, trails & open fields. It is suitable for all levels of riders so
everyone can enjoy themselves. They have a warm clubhouse and we're planning to
have hot dogs to roast for everyone. In order for us to know how much food to
bring, please phone Dale Reid @ 445-4348 & give me your name, and how many people
will be in your party.
