Tri-County Snowmobile Club
2005-
AVALANCHE AWARENESS COURSE
To our fellow members and friends:
Safety is an important issue - this event is open to all members of the
community, not just Tri-County members. We welcome and encourage participation
from all other clubs and the general public.
Tri-County Snowmobile Club will be hosting an AVALANCHE AWARENESS Course
presented by Zac’s Tracs (
http://www.snowfarmers.com/zacs.htm )on November 22 & 23 2005. This course is due
to the many requests received at the ASA Snowmobile Show through the clubs and
to Lori Zacaruk of Zac’s Tracs for an early Avalanche Course. In a joint effort
with Tri-County Snowmobile Club and Zac’s Tracs we wish to proved this course
early in the season and offered to everyone. It is open to the all
snowmobile clubs and general public.

A poster of the date,
location and a brief description of the course.
Please copy the poster and place at any dealers, club house or meeting as our
time is short only 20 days away. If possible please forward this email and
attachments to as many members or general public you feel will benefit by this
course. If you know someone that does not have email capabilities would
you please copy the poster and pass it on to them.
The more educated mountain riders, the safer we all are and if required will be
able to offer educated assistance when an avalanche strikes. Remember,
time is short, we only get about 15 minutes to rescue a buried sledder.
Tri-County Snowmobile Club wishes to thank-you for your assistance and help in
promoting safer mountain riding.
Please feel free to contact me anytime at 780-437-4706 for questions or to book
a spot for this class. Seating is limited so do not miss out.
