Tri-County will make every effort to host events on this schedule.  Please check this Website / HOT LINE  to verify the ride/event is happening and when in doubt about an event due to weather or other circumstances always confirm with the event contact. All events are subject to change.  Please contact the event coordinator if you have questions about an event. Note: All TCSC rides require and ASA Trail Pass on each snowmobile, day passes are available from TCSC at the ride.

Some event may be cancelled due to snow conditions / or temperature and will be skipped this year.
Exceptions are the SANTA’s TOY ride and GYM CANA DAYS we will make sure we find a date for these.

 If you want to go meet Rudi (Black Dually Truck & White Trailer) in parking lot #2 at 12:00pm Noon on Sunday Jan 17.

TCSC - Whitecourt AB - Saturday Ride January 30, 2010
Event: Riding one leg of the Golden Triangle, Whitecourt to Fox Creek and back to Whitecourt
Date: Saturday January 30th, 2010
Time: 7:30am Hwy 60 Petro Can
Meeting Location: Hwy 60 Petro Can
Info: I am riding one leg of the Golden Triangle. (Whitecourt to Fox Creek).
I am guessing this trip will take most of the day, so I will be leaving early. (want to be on the trail no later then 9:30am)
Plan is to ride into Fox Creek get fuel, and pending on time, stop there for dinner, then ride back to Whitecourt.
I rode up there on the 16th, pretty much same snow conditions as here.
I plan on getting to the Hwy 60 Petro Can at 7 a.m. will wait there until 730, (if anyone wants to follow) then head out from there.
I believe there is a staging area just off of Hwy 32 past the Whitecourt casino See Maps below for link to staging area. That's where I'll be staging.
Look for the White GMC 1 ton with pin striping and a white 4 place sled trailer with matching stripes and the words RXN on the sides.
Also have room in trailer for a couple extra sleds if anyone is interested in saving gas.
Cancellation of ride if colder than -20 forcasted for Saturday January 20

Spruce Grove / Stony Plain Trail Seekers Poker Rally - Saturday, February 6 , 2010

Date: Saturday, February 6 , 2010
Time: Registration: 10:00am – 12:00 -- All hands must be in by 4:00pm
Location: Staging Area Turn south off Hi-way 16 onto 759 Seaba Beach Hi-way.  Travel Approx 11.2km south to Langley Road (Twp 522) Turn right and travel heading west for 8km.  At the entrance to the Sungro Peat Moss Plant turn right (north) travel over the cattle gate and head north 2km.  Directly on the south side of the transmission line is the staging area.
Info: ASA Members Registration Fee : $10  // Non-ASA Members Registration Fee : $25, includes 1 hand
$5 for each extra hand  // All hands must be in by 2:30pm // Lots of door prizes & Ghost Hands !!
Chili lunch is provided on the trail and a cool desert at a secret check point.

Tri-County's Gym Cana Family Days - Hay Lakes - Sunday Feb 21
Event:Tri-County's Gym Cana Family Days - Hay Lakes
Date: Sunday February 21 , 2010
Time: Registration: 11:00am – 12 noon -- Events and riding start at Noon
Location: One km south of the Town of Hay Lakes on Range Road RR215
Info: Events / Games
- #1 Pick Up Sticks - Ride your sled through a slalom course picking up sticks and placing in pails - great fun
- #2 Slalom Race - Ride your sled through a pylon slalom course competing against your fellow riders
- #3 Barrel Race - Very similar to the horse barrel races, you follow a marked course around large plastic barrels and compete with your friends for the best time
- #4 Chuckboggan Race- 4 person teams compete against other teams, 2 people carry 1 person to a sled then that sleds leaves going through a marked course , while the other 2 sleds try to catch up the the first sled, lots of laughs and very competitive for the family
- Free Burgers & Pop - Now who can resist a Free BBQ burger/smoky and pop at a great event like this
- Warm-up Fire -  Relaxing social time to review your times and events with your friends/family and have some free burgers/ Smokies/ hot-dogs and pop.  Also to meet some of the Tri-County members and visit
- Lots of parking - for trucks, trailers and even the big enclosed trailers

RIVERSIDE YAMAHA - Test Ride Yamaha 2010/2011 Sleds - Feb 24, 2010
RIVERSIDE YAMAHA is having a Yamaha 2010/2011 come test ride the new sleds day on feb24/10. We will be demo riding some of Yamahas new 2010 and 2011 4 stroke snowmobiles including the new revolutionary 2011 APEX now with more horsepower as well as an industry first factory installed power steering on the APEX. I had an opportunity to personally ride the new apex and all I can say is WOW! This feature makes the sled feel and handle like it's 100lbs lighter, it's amazing. We would like to invite all club members out to try them out. The location is yet to be determined (will be close to the city). I would suggest that anyone interested can call the dealership @780-458-7272 to get the final destination and times. Thanks Danny Yaggey

TCSC-Destination Ride - Viking Poker Rally - Saturday Feb 27, 2010
Thanks to Tony & Crystal Savage for guiding this destination ride to the Viking Poker Rally.

We will be meeting at the Ministik Tempo  21348 Hwy14  and leaving there at 9 am sharp for the trip out to Viking so we can travel out together if anyone wants to join us.

Location: Viking Multiplex (Curling rink/Golf course)
Info: Top prize this year will be a Helmet, Coat and Pants. As well as lots of other door prizes. Entry fee will be 35$ and will include a hot dog at half way and chilli when the ride is over. We will be making this course 60 miles again and will have a bit of everything for riding. Bring the family out and lets all have a good time, see everyone in February.

Passengers are $5.00 (includes lunch & supper)
All extra hands $5.00
All machines must have valid registration and current insurance

TCSC - Destination Ride - Cynthia, AB - Sunday Feb 28, 2010
This ride is probably cutline, power lines and logging roads so is not classified as a Family Ride, you need to be able to handle your sled.
If you have a GPS this would be a good ride to take it on.

Info: One of the guys at work is saying Cynthia is a worth while to go riding.
He was saying they still got lots of snow.
I'm going to give it a go on Sunday Feb 28th.

Otherwise meet at the Petro-Can on hwy 60 at 8a.m.  Leaving it at 9a.m. 
I have never ridden there so it will all be new.
