Camrose Resort Casino

What is a CASINO and what tasks are there?

Tri-County will have our 3rd Casino (second quarter) on April, May or June of 2011 for 2 days.

Our first Casino was held at the brand new Camrose Casino and Resort on July 8 & 9, 2007, Our second on January 1 & 2, 2009.  We were all scared at first to hold our first Casino but after the first day we all settled down and really enjoyed ourselves.  The work load is spread out over 26 people and the pace was such that no one was over work.  We all had time to relax, converse and enjoy each others company.  It was a great way to meet some of the members and their spouses.  Most everyone asked to have their names included for the next Casino.  So do not be shy sign up and have a great time.

What did we earn at the Casinos?
July 8 & 9, 2007 The combined club take home was $19,500.00
January 1 & 2, 2009 The combined club take home was $17,900.00

What did we do with the proceeds?
We used the proceeds from Casino 1 & 2, to help purchase a Bombardier BR180 Groomer & Drag for our 102km of trail in the Ministik Sanctuary and Hay Lakes Trail.  Click here to see what a Bombardier BR180 Groomer & Drag looks like.
The 2011 Casino Proceeds will be used for the "Grooming Program" and building a heated Groomer Garage.
